Where Whisper Memos stops

Whisper Memos is the closest neighbour on this page: it records a memo and delivers it automatically, to your email by default or to apps like Notion and Todoist. The gaps are narrower here, but they sit exactly where notes get lost.

Voice only
No typed notes and no photos; capture is recording or audio upload
One route at a time
Its agents route a memo down one path; one memo to several apps at once is not something it advertises
No arrival status
Neither its site nor its App Store listing mentions delivery confirmation or failure handling
Subscription only
Monthly or yearly plans; no one-time price

Questions

Is Driftto a good Whisper Memos alternative?

The closest comparison on this site: both capture a thought and deliver it automatically. Driftto adds typed and photo capture, several destinations for one note, an arrival status per stop and a one-time price.

Can Driftto email me my notes, like Whisper Memos?

Yes. Email is built in: yourself, your assistant, any address you confirm. And the same note can land in Notion or Reminders at the same time.

When is Whisper Memos the better choice?

If you capture from your wrist. Its standalone Apple Watch app records offline and syncs later, and Driftto has no Watch app today. Switch when you also type or snap notes, or want to see that every note actually arrived.

What happens when a Driftto note doesn't arrive?

It stays on screen as didn't reach it until you retry or remove it yourself. Nothing is silently dropped, which is the whole point of the app.

Can one note land in Notion and Reminders at once?

Yes. Pick both as destinations and a single capture is delivered to each, with its own arrival status for every stop.

What does Driftto cost?

$19.99 a year after a 7-day free trial, $2.99 a month, or $29.99 once, yours forever. No free tier, delivery is the product.
